Pesto is a classic Italian sauce served in most of the luxury restaurants all around the world.
The Genovese variant of this sauce is the must common nowadays, so this is the main reason I choose the share this variant of Pesto sauce.
You will need:
- 2 cups basil leaves
- 3 teaspoons pine nuts
- 2 cloves of garlic
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- olive oil
- tomatoes used as garnish
- Put all the ingredients, except the olive oil, in a food processor or blender and mix well until you obtain a paste. Little by little add the olive oil until everything is very well incorporated.
- Serve with tomatoes as a garnish.
