Chow mein is a Chinese, noodle based dish which involves stir frying. Depending the type of noodles you use, you can make 2 kind of chow mein: steamed (if you prefer to use long, rounded noodles) or crispy (if you prefer to use fired, flat noodles).
Either way the taste is fantastic. The noodles, the mix of vegetables and the soy sauce really takes you to China.
Also fill free to add any other ingredient you want, since chow mein can be done in a great variety of combinations: you can choose to use only vegetables or you can choose to add chicken or pork, or whatever meat you like.
